Motorola Edge 50 Neo launched in India, price starts from Rs 23,999

Motorola has launched its latest mid-range smartphone, the Moto Edge 50 Neo, in India. The device falls under the Rs 30,000 segment and will be available via Flipkart. It has a telephoto sensor at the back, an IP rating, a 1.5K display, stereo speakers and more. Here are all the details.
The Moto Edge 50 Neo is priced at Rs 23,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. A special sale for the Motorola Edge 50 Neo is set to begin on September 16 at 7 PM, exclusively via Flipkart.
As part of the launch offers, HDFC Bank credit cardholders can claim discount of up to Rs 1,000. The smartphone is available in four Pantone-certified colours — Nautical Blue, Latte, Grisaille, and Poinciana — featuring a vegan leather finish.
The Motorola Edge 50 Neo comes with a 6.4-inch 1.5K pOLED LTPO display. The panel has support for 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 3,000 nits. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 3.
The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset is powering the device and it is backed by LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage for smooth performance. Motorola is promising five years of OS and security updates.
On the camera front, the smartphone sports a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 700C primary sensor with OIS support, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide/macro camera, and a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, it houses a 32-megapixel front camera.
The Motorola Edge 50 Neo packs a 4,310mAh battery, with support for 68W wired and 15W wireless charging. Additionally, the device is IP68-rated for water and dust resistance, along with MIL-STD 810H certification for durability in extreme conditions. There are also dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics.
